Gotta love those 'Songs About Me'!!

Ok, rather than erase they cute blog from last night I just decided to write a new one.

What an AWESOME show!!

Jason Aldean was great. He sang all his hits, including 'Hicktown', and even tried out his new single, 'Johnny Cash'. His tribute to Guns N' Roses rocked the house.

Billy Currington came next and much to the dismay of many of the women in the audience he remained fully clothed. He sang his hits and then...

Out came the 'Dangerous Man', Mr. 'Honky Tonk Badonkadonk' himself, Trace Adkins. He opened with 'Songs About Me' and didn't stop rocking for over an hour and a half. He sang all his hits off of the last two albums including 'Ladies Love Country Boys', 'Swing', 'Fightin' Words', 'Ain't No Woman Like You', and 'Arlington'.

'Arlington' was amazing. I love the song and have so much respect and admiration for someone who can sing a song about heroes and not try to put a politcal statement in it. He did say there was a statement in 'Fightin' Words' though. Hmm, I wonder what that could be?

Apparently southern California has the highest concentration of hot chicks according to Trace. Probably not the most politically correct thing to say but he said he doesn't give a shit. (also awesome, being PC is so stupid...)

I need to remember to watch the video for 'Ladies Love Country Boys'. Trace put his daughter in the video. According to him, she's the one without the boobs.

He closed with 'Badonkadonk' (what you thought he didn't play that one?) and came back out for an encore and sang 'Chrome'.

Overall an awesome concert and I had a great time. I got these tickets as a gift (what an awesome present!) Thanks so much!! Next time I'll have to buy tickets. You know, that way Trace doesn't have to get a 'real' job cuz that would suck! (his words, not mine)

Awesome show! When are they in town again??

Great review! My brother announced that he would love to see Trace live (that took me by surprise). He sounds really fun. I'll have to watch for tour dates by me.
